We are Marengo First Kids Ministry! As such, we are recruited for God’s agency to defend His word and to stand firm in the faith. Our mission is to always be ready whatever the enemy may try to infiltrate, corrupt, and/or destroy. We experience missions from God daily and through M1K we are trained, encouraged, and sent out ready to defend and proclaim His kingdom.


We offer infant through 5th grade classes on Sunday mornings and 3 years through 8th grade on Wednesday Nights.


Sundays we host 2 services. If you are an early bird attending our 8:30 am service your kids will enjoy praise and worship time with you and then will be walked back to either our Pre-reader (5-7yrs) or our 8-12 year old Sunday school classes. They will study the Bible through fun and engaging learning with teachers who will love and

inspire your children.


Our 10 am service looks a little different with all ages infant through 5th grade beginning in their perspective classes. K-5th will start out their mornings combined to worship together in Room C with Kid focused praise and worship. They will find their own unique expression of how they praise the Lord through upbeat and uplifting songs! 


At 10:30 the Junior Agents (3-5yrs) will be dismissed to their classroom across the hall and the remaining Field agents will have Bible training with their Chief of God’s Agents.


Each room is designed with the goal to develop and train our agents through the years for the obstacles and challenges they may face in the years to come. We pray that each agent going through these programs will be equipped with the Biblical knowledge and truths to

fight and win the battles of life. They need not to be afraid, but hold fast to our verse:


1 Corinthians 16:13

"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong."

Our Wednesday night programs are a great way to stay

connected during the week.  We host a variety of classes to accommodate kids ages 3 through 8th grade.


Beginning in our Rainbows class these 3-5yr girls and boys will get solid teachings with age appropriate crafts, games, and lessons.


Next stage of classes are our girl’s programs

Daisy (K) and Prims (1-2nd) Classes which build upon the

foundations they learned in Rainbows while growing in the depth of the stories they’ve learned and others they may not know. Each class contains lots of learning with crafts and games to bring these groups together for the joys of growing together in friendships and God.


We offer classes for our growing girls 3rd through 5th grade in Stars in which Girls make their way up the Stairway of the Stars achievement program as they complete units in the four worlds:

The World About You

The World Within You. 


Through memorization, projects, and Bible reading are

all another stair in teaching the girls the foundation of Christianity, missions, and building on their own character development.


Another class we offer is for our pre-teen girls 6th through 8th grades called Friends. 

Friends Club provides discussion-oriented lessons to

continue the Titus 2 principle of women mentoring young girls. Topics of study include the sanctity of life, accountability, commitment to Christ, life-controlling problems, purity, and choices. While learning and discussing these life-issues the girls will complete projects and adventures through their year together.


Royal Rangers program is geared for the boys! 


This is a mentoring program teaching our boys K-2nd in Ranger Kids and our 3rd -8th grade youth how to become future men.  We provide Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment.  Our mission is

to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders.


Once Wednesday each month we have an exciting theme night to come dressed and earn extra Bible Bucks. Bible bucks are a point system in which the kids can earn in all sorts of ways: coming to class, being prepared, having offering, and more. The children also get to cash in those Bible bucks each month for prizes! Each month holds something fun in store.
